This Privacy Policy does not govern websites, social-media platforms, galleries, publishers, or other services operated independently by third parties. Those services maintain their own privacy policies and practices.

dadda? explores the emotional and social realities of single fatherhood through photography, film, installation, personal testimony, and related forms.
Submissions may include private or sensitive experiences involving fatherhood, family relationships, separation, divorce, loss, identity, disability, physical or mental health, trauma, or other personal subjects.
dadda? and Rohova Studios are not mental health organizations, healthcare providers, counseling services, crisis services, support lines, or emergency-response services.
Nothing provided through the website, project, exhibition, or project communications constitutes medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Submissions and project communications are not continuously monitored. Do not use dadda? to request urgent assistance. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource in your country.

We do not use submitted information to make decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing, healthcare eligibility, or other similarly significant matters.
We do not make decisions about contributors using solely automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Public use of selected materials
Submitting materials does not guarantee publication, exhibition, selection, or an individual response.
Selected materials may be publicly used as authorized by the dadda? Submission Terms and Release, including through:
Exhibitions; Websites and online archives; Social media; Printed materials; Books and publications; Film and documentaries; Television; Audio works; Press and media coverage; Advertising and project promotion; Educational materials; Public presentations; Project documentation; Rohova Studios portfolios; and Current or future versions of dadda?.
Once information is made public, other people may photograph, copy, download, quote, index, archive, translate, or redistribute it.
Rohova Studios cannot guarantee removal of copies independently retained by search engines, archives, exhibition visitors, social-media users, press outlets, publishers, or other third parties.
Attribution and anonymity
Submitters may be offered the following attribution choices:
Full name; First name and last initial; First name only; Alias or pseudonym; or; and Anonymous attribution.
Rohova Studios will take reasonable steps to follow the selected attribution preference.
However, anonymity cannot be guaranteed. A person may remain identifiable through a photograph, voice, location, family relationship, personal history, event, writing style, circumstances, or surrounding context even when their name is removed.

Consumer health information may be disclosed to:
Authorized Rohova Studios personnel and project collaborators; Website, form, storage, email, and security providers acting on our behalf; Attorneys and other professional advisers; Galleries, publishers, producers, press outlets, or project partners involved in an authorized public use; and The public when the information has been selected and authorized for publication.
Rohova Studios does not sell consumer health data.

Private submission materials are not provided to third parties for their independent targeted advertising.
Selected materials may be used to publicize, market, advertise, document, and promote dadda? and related Rohova Studios activities as authorized by the Submission Terms and Release.
Marketing-email consent, when offered, will be optional and separate from the submission process. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website currently uses only technologies reasonably necessary to operate the site, process submissions, maintain security, and remember your preferences.
We do not currently use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or optional analytics on this website. If we introduce optional analytics or embedded media in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide a way to manage those preferences before they are activated.
Your browser may store small local preferences using local storage (for example, archive grid density on the home page and in-progress answers on the submit form until you submit or clear them). These preferences stay on your device and are not used for advertising.
When you submit materials through the form, your information is transmitted to Formspree, our form-processing provider, which may use its own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with that service. Formspree’s practices are governed by its own privacy policy.

Retention

Unselected submission materials
Unselected submissions may generally be retained for up to three years after submission or the last meaningful communication concerning the submission.
This allows Rohova Studios to consider the materials for future exhibitions, publications, archives, or versions of dadda?
After that period, the materials may be deleted or de-identified unless:
The submitter has agreed to a longer period; The materials remain under active consideration; Retention is reasonably necessary for an ongoing project; Retention is necessary to resolve a dispute or legal claim; or; and Retention is required or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Selected and published materials
Selected, exhibited, or publicly used materials may be retained indefinitely as part of the artistic, documentary, editorial, promotional, legal, historical, and archival records of dadda? and Rohova Studios.
Consent and legal records
Submission agreements, releases, electronic signatures, attribution choices, consent records, correspondence, and publication records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Document authorized use; Maintain the integrity and history of the project; Comply with applicable law; and Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
Website and technical records
Technical, analytics, cookie, and security information will be retained according to its operational purpose and the settings of the applicable service provider.
Information stored in backups may remain until those backups are securely overwritten through the ordinary backup cycle, except where applicable law requires a different process.
Security
Rohova Studios uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, interference, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before consent was withdrawn.
A privacy request does not automatically revoke copyright or intellectual-property permissions granted under the Submission Terms and Release. However, Rohova Studios will stop or modify future processing when applicable privacy law requires it.
Residents of Washington may have specific rights concerning consumer health data, including rights to access certain information, withdraw consent, request deletion, identify certain recipients, and appeal certain decisions.
Individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Australia may also have the right to complain to the privacy or data-protection authority responsible for their location.
Rohova Studios will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.
Children
The dadda? submission process is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old.
We do not knowingly accept direct submissions from children.
An adult should submit personal information or media involving a child only when the adult has the legal authority and all permissions required to do so.
Do not submit a child’s:
Full legal name; Full birthdate; Home address; School or childcare location; Custody or visitation schedule; Medical records; Government identification; or; and Other information that creates an unnecessary safety risk.
If we learn that a person under 18 directly submitted personal information, we may delete the information and discontinue communication.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Rohova Studios may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to dadda?, the website, service providers, data practices, or applicable law.
The revised policy will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.
If a change materially expands how previously collected information may be used, we will provide additional notice or obtain additional consent where required by applicable law.
